I decided to do another "What I Would've Worn" post, this time Coachella themed. Coachella has become as much about the fashion as it is the music, and I for one am always super inspired by the unique getups I see people wear there. And since I'm too broke to actually go to the Palm Springs music festival, I figured I'd put together a theoretical outfit for myself. I started with this top from Pretty Little Thing. It so cute and summery, and it went viral on Pinterest. I then paired it with these super flattering pants from Who What Wear in one of my favorite prints of the season, gingham. To take my somewhat normal outfit to Coachella status, I added super funky accessories and out-of-this-world shoes. Said shoes are from a brand called Buffalo. They're from Spain, and this particular pair was a limited edition collab for Dolls Kill. Here's a link to an all white pair that's equally dope. This cute little purse is vintage from the 70's! But I got it because it looks just like this one from Shrimps that's all over Instagram. Topshop has a very similar option for a more affordable price.. These cute little sunglasses are also from Pretty Little Things, but sadly they are sold out. Here's a similar pair from Boohoo. If you notice, I added a little stamp on my face for extra Coachella vibes. This star one from Milk Makeup is adorable. Finally, my necklace set is from H&M. It is not online, I got it in store. However, this set is very similar. Add this rose pendant from Forever 21 and you basically have this set. And there you have it, an outfit made for partying in the California Valley!

This week, I wanted to make a list of my fav trends I'm seeing for Spring. They are in no particular order, but here goes:

1. Dad Sneakers

I love this trend because it goes along with that "ugly-pretty" theme that I've been seeing everywhere in fashion. It's also comfortable and practical which is a great bonus. I'm a fan of dad sneakers because they go with anything from jeans and a tee to a cute dress! My pick for this trend is the Fila Disruptor, shown below.

2. Clear Accessories

More and more I've been seeing clear plastic shoes and accessories, and I'm all for it. Clear purses are cool because you can make the inside look however you want. If you want to put a smaller bag inside with a cool print, or fill your bag with super aesthetic objects, you can do it and look chic. I really dig this option from Urban Outfitters:

3. Pastels

I have been a huge fan of pastels for a long time, but I'm seeing them a great deal more than usual for this Spring. Particularly lavender, yellow, and pink. Pastels are fit for Spring because they are bright, happy, and bold. And personally, I am a Summer color scheme so pastels are in my color range! My pastel pick is this beautiful lavender Candie's brand blazer:

4. Linen

Probably my favorite fabric choice for this season is linen. I love how natural and earthy it is. In my opinion, pieces made from linen look expensive, which is something I look for in clothing. I love this linen midi skirt from Urban Outfitters. The length is fresh and the contrasting buttons add interest.

5. Straw/Rattan

I love straw accessories for Spring for the same reason I love linen: it's natural. Straw hats and bags give me major French vibes. This basket bag from Free People is so cute.

6. Gingham

I'll admit, I've gone a little crazy with this trend lately. I am obsessed with gingham! From dresses, to skirts, blouses and even a bikini, I love this print. It's so Spring, it reminds me of a picnic on a warm, breezy day. And it's so versatile. I am in love with this cute little gingham dress from ASOS. The back details are so dainty!

7. Polka Dots

Another favorite print of mine this season is polka dots. Brought into style by French designer Jacquemus, large black and white polka dots especially have been everywhere. This one piece swimsuit from Forever 21 is adorable. It's subtly sexy with the high leg but has a cute ruched high neck.

8. Vintage/Reworked Jeans

This trend isn't anything new either but it is a go to of mine, so I figured I'd add it on here. Vintage jeans are classic and timeless. They are stylish and flattering, and go with everything. Vintage jeans can be dressed up or down; you can pair them with a blouse and kitten heels or a t-shirt and sneakers and you'll look chic. Urban Renewal by Urban Outfitters has amazing vintage and redone jeans for a great price! This spliced pocket pair is amazing, I own these and I love them!

9. Skinny Sunglasses

This 90's inspired trend is so cute and trendy. When you put on a pair of skinny sunnies, you instantly give off cool-girl vibes. They are classic and versatile and you can throw them on with just about anything. My pick are these tortoiseshell ones from Urban Outfitters. They have a unique shape and the tortoiseshell coloring is beautiful.

10. Kitten Heels

Last but not least, kitten heels are one of my favorite shoe trends. Cute and comfortable, they are a great choice for any outfit. I love the vintage vibe they give off, and they are flattering on your foot. Below is a classic pair from Who What Wear Collection at Target.

And there you have it! My 10 top trends for this upcoming Spring season! Which trends are your favs? Comment below!

I love big cozy sweaters. This week I wanted to throw on a sweater one last time before the weather got too warm. This particular one from H&M has been a favorite of mine this season. It's really soft and oversized, and it drapes perfectly. And it's on sale!! I wanted to create a very Spring look with this sweater, so I opted for an all white ensemble. These corduroy pants add another texture, which is nice, and they balance the sweater well. These pants are from H&M also, but they are sold out. Here's an alternative pair from Urban Outfitters. To add some contrast, I added these amazing black heels from Topshop. I'm loving the 90s toe-loop trend and these are perfect! I also wanted to incorporate my favorite new sunglasses, these vintage Gucci beauties. Since these are obviously one of a kind, here's a cute pair that's similar. And I threw on my go-to necklace from Boho Moon to top it all off.
