This look came from two equally amazing statement pieces. First came the corduroy pants. I've been seeing a surge in corduroy lately, and I love it! These particular ones were from H&M but they sold out quick. Here's a great pair from Topshop if you want to hop on this trend. The other pièce de résistance was this blazer, also from H&M. The color and print jumped out at me right away. It's such a fresh blue, great for spring! And I'm such a sucker for a good blazer. Underneath I wanted to do just a classic white tee. This one from Uniqlo is great! It's super crisp and doesn't wrinkle or loose its shape. And for that price? I got three colors! These shoes are long gone but Urban Outfitters has a very similar pair. Finally, I accessorized this look with my new favorite necklace. This gold-plated beauty from Boho Moon. It's a great price and you can get it with your own initial. It also comes in silver (which I might end up getting too!). This outfit is chic, minimalistic, and super comfy. It's one of my favorites so far.

For this look, I was inspired by this great top from H&M. It's very simple but it's unique at the same time. I love the puffed sleeves and the exaggerated button detail. And who doesn't love a crisp poplin blouse? This one sold out super quick, but luckily Urban Outfitters has an almost identical one. For such a chic top, I wanted to pair it with some nice black trousers. These are a great option from Target's new A New Day collection. They're a bit stretchy, super flattering, and they come in long! Which as I said before, is exciting for someone tall like me. For shoes, I went with these dainty kitten heel slingbacks from Zara. I got them for my birthday last year so they're long gone, but here's a similar pair. The bows on those ones kill me, they're so cute! And to top it all off, I went along with the pilgrim/farmer vibe and threw on a straw boater hat. These are going to be everywhere come Spring and Summer, so you should get your hands on one!

It's Fashion Month! Designers all over the world are putting on runway shows to premiere their new collections. It's been fabulous, but what really had me inspired was the street style. Bloggers and fashion insiders attending the shows dress their best in hopes of getting their looks snapped by street style photographers. This got me thinking: What would I wear to NYFW if I was invited? Here's what I came up with.

I absolutely fell in love with this suit when I saw it at Target. It's a collection by one of my favorite fashion newsletters, Who What Wear. Their line is so cute and trendy, and everything is under $60! Shop the blazer here and the pants here. Rather than wear a shirt underneath, I just added a layered necklace for some interest (scandalous!). The one pictured is from H&M but is only sold in stores. I'm a huge fan of the controversial "Dad sneaker" trend, brought to popularity by the Balenciaga Triple S. Since not all of us can afford Balenciaga, I found these great lookalikes at Mango. While these ones are sadly out of stock, here's another great pair. Add some kitschy socks and a quilted fanny pack (another controversial trend) to complete the look! I love this outfit. It's chic but edgy, and it would be comfortable to walk around in all day for NYFW.
