"Midi"-summer Night's Dream

I just want to start off by saying that this dress is a WOW piece! It's from Reformation, and it's one of my favorite pieces I own for Spring/Summer. From the silhouette, to the print, to the high slit and the open back detail, this dress is a stunner. And the best part? It's eco-friendly! I love, love, love this brand because not only are their products super cute and trendy, but they are environmentally conscious and they make that a core part of their brand. To block out that hot Vegas sun, I wore these rad Chloe Marlow sunglasses. I love them because they are a unique take on an aviator style, and they work really well with my face shape. I struggle with finding sunnies because I have an oval-shaped face, so many styles don't look so good on me. I found these Chloe ones for a fantastic price at Nordstrom Rack, so if you do a little digging on the internet you might be able to snag a pair for a deal. One trend that screams summer is basket bags, and this cute one from Forever 21 is perfect! It's just the right size for a day date or a shopping day with the girls. Finally, to show off my fresh pedicure, I chose a somewhat controversial trend in the fashion world: flip flops. Mine have a cute kitten heel to elevate (pun intended) them from just regular ol' sandals. These ones are vintage, but Jeffrey Campbell has a really awesome pair! LBD (Little Brown Dress)

Brown is a really polarizing color, especially in the fashion world. But this year it's been blowing up and I'm for it. It's a fresh color that's pretty versatile. I love this brown dress from H&M. It's sold out, but get a cute one that's similar HERE. It's so simple and chic, and you can dress it up or down. I went for a casual streetwear look: something simple to stroll around Downtown in. I thought the dress would go great with the brown tones in my vintage Gucci purse, and I love the pops of red that the straps of the bag add. I love how I happened across this wall that kind of resembles the Gucci print, too! To really give my look that streetwear vibe, I chose my fav FILA Disruptor sneakers. They're so chunky and cool. I also added on of my favorite necklaces, this layered one from Forever 21. I also mixed metals a bit with my silver aviator glasses. Mine aren't Fendi sadly, but those ones are so cool I just had to link them.

All Tied Up

Tie-front tops are one of my favorite trends for spring. They are so dainty and pretty, especially this lovely satin one from Urban Outfitters. I love the color and the fit a lot; it's so flattering. This top is so sexy and feminine, I wanted to contrast it with some slouchy vintage mom jeans. Urban Outfitter's Urban Renewal line has some great ones. I also threw on my favorite Dr. Marten Jadon boots to edge it up. These boots are seriously amazing, they elevate any outfit I put them with (figuratively and literally 'cause they have a platform!). Finally, this cute little charm necklace from Topshop and my aviators finish off the look. Mine aren't Fendi of course, but these were too cool not to link!
