This weekend I went and relaxed at Newport Beach with my family. It was a bit hot, but the water felt great and I always love the beach! This swimsuit is one of my favorite one-pieces ever. It's from American Eagle, and it is so soft and comfy. The quality and fit are amazing and the best part? It comes in long sizing! It's great because I have such a long torso that normal one piece swimsuits never fit right. This particular one with the O-ring is sold out, but here's a similar one. Of course I had to use this opportunity to wear my favorite oversized hat again. Sadly, it sold out quick, but here's a cute one. I also wore my favorite seashell necklace from Forever 21. The white shirt-dress I'm wearing over my swimsuit is something I actually made myself. It's a great beach coverup because it's light and airy. Get a similar one here. And finally, my dewy beach look courtesy of Glossier!

This past weekend I took a friend trip to Brianhead, Utah and it was so beautiful up there! I love all the meadows with long flowing grass and wildflowers. Being from Vegas, I don't ever see pretty greenery like that. For this woodsy sort of look I started with this adorable horse print blouse from Forever 21. It's so light and airy, and I'm such a fan of the print because my favorite animal was a horse growing up. This top is pretty sheer so I wore this cute black lace bralette from Urban Outfitters underneath. To really add that relaxed, cabin-y feel I paired this blouse with these cute gingham pants, also from Urban Outfitters. They are a loose, comfy fit and I love the small, understated print. To finish off my mountain look I threw on my ol' reliable Dr. Martens. Every 90's inspired wardrobe needs a pair of these suckers, and I love mine because the white color is unique. I also added this simple rectangular necklace to compliment the low neckline of the blouse.

If I'm being totally honest, my initial reaction to the rebirth of the leopard print trend was "Ewwwww!". I had painful flashbacks to my pink, purple, and leopard print bedroom from my middle school days (yikes). However, upon seeing brands and fellow bloggers style the print in fresh, modern, and somehow minimalistic ways, I slowly became on board. Now I am officially a fan and want leopard print everything. So here's my crack at the trend. I went super 90's with this look, starting of course with these flowy leopard pants from Forever 21. They are so comfy and chic, and they're less than $40! They can be dressed up or down, with this look being somewhere in the middle. I paired them with my favorite Topshop cami because, let's be honest, these two pieces were made for each other. These amazing square toe H&M shoes went perfect with this look too. There's only a couple left so if you're lucky you can snag them here. I wanted to add a couple pops of white to break up the dark colors, so I threw on these skinny sunnies and this beaded bag. Mine is vintage but Mango has a stunning clear one. The last couple things I added that just scream 90's are this dainty gold choker and rhinestone bracelet. What are your thoughts on leopard print?
